For what they were I enjoyed both of these albums and especially Holy Water, easily the most successful (Platinum) and hard rocking album of the Brian Howe era. Dangerous Age also went Gold. Many, many AOR hits from these albums-a total of 9. Generic stuff, but good and Mick Ralphs had some nice guitar work on both.
It says these are remastered, but I doubt that. If they were I'd get them but otherwise I'll stick with my originals. Plus, these can easily be found in the used bins. I've seen a few Wounded Bird titles listed before as remastered-do they actually do remastering for some titles?

Don't expect sonic revelations from Wounded Bird titles, they're usually flat transfers with no remastering. It's just nice that they make all those albums readily available on the market again.

I prefer Bad Company + Paul Rodgers, but these albums were hits, so I guess it's good they're back in print.

I don't expect sonic revelations as I have some WB titles-my question was if any titles have been remastered or if it's just a misprint. There's never been a mention of anything on my WB titles-just a straight reprint of the original liner notes. I don't have many WB titles, but the ones I have sound very good (Blackfoot, Vandenberg, Gamma, Loudness, Phil Lynott). I have no complaints, but I know some titles supposedly have been poorly done.
But have any WB titles actually been remastered and credited as such? If these Bad Co titles are, I might get them otherwise I'm staying with the originals.

Can't recall any Wounded Bird titles that have been remastered ... I'm pretty sure that a small handful have included bonus tracks. The odds of these Bad Company titles being anything but straight reissues are real small, Pete. (In fact I'm going to change the thread title to say "reissues" rather than "remasters".) Definitely don't pre-order them until we have more info.

I cant believe "Dangerous Age" was reissued. I can walk into any used CD store and find several original copies for a couple of bucks...

The Wounded Bird reissues of the three Bangles albums from the Columbia label are DEFINITELY remastered. They sound much better than the original CDs.

The Wounded Bird Thin Lizzy remasters , if they were remastered , are very low . I honestly think the original releases sounded much better .

I never got the Lizzy Wounded Bird releases, the Metal Blade remasters from the 90s were done very, very well. No way the Wounded Bird releases would touch those.
Hopefully, if they ever do the remasters in the UK, they will indeed be worth it.
As for these Bad Co releases, if they're not remastered, what is the point? You can find these anywhere dirt cheap. Same with Fame nd Fortune which they also handled. I'll have to wait until these come out to see if they're really remastered which I very much doubt. Nice that they'll be back in print, but that's about it.
