If you're using Widows 7 with your Wacom and you're getting that stupid, annoying splash effect, there IS a way to turn it off. And they couldn't have made it more difficult. Here it is:

1. Open Local Group Policy Editor: Run... gpedit.msc
2. Navigate to User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Tablet PC - Cursor
3. Enable the Turn off pen feedback setting.
