He's also responsible for Crime Story. So he has my eternal devotion based on that alone.

Heh, no one commented on this?
I saw it in the theatre and enjoyed it. Not likely to be a DVD purchase for me, but I thought it was a solid film and woiuld recommend it for anyone; however, if you're a big fan of movies like Heat, American Gangster, Casino, etc., you'll probably want to own this one.

I love Michael Mann's style of filmaking..so this movie was right up my alley..the attention to detail, the music, the introspective characters...and some insane gun fights...definitely a must buy for me.

Collateral was a very good movie. Jamie Foxx was on a great roll around that time -- Collateral, Ray...and then he fouls it up by doing Miami Vice. Seemed to cool off his hot streak because you don't see him in much these days.
