The Black Knight

I always liked him when he was with the Avengers. Maybe it's because I like that whole medieval, but he was a character I enjoyed. Haven't seen him in years. Where he at!?

Nimrod

Remember that super Sentinel from the future during John Romita Jr's run on X-Men? He was, like, unbeatable and stuff. Where he at!?

Warlock

Speaking or robotish X dudes, Warlock, the crazy alien thing from New Mutants. He was cool. Where he at!?

Add your own!

The same thing that happened to Gene, Tex, Roy, Rex the Durango Kid, Johnny Mack Brown, Alan Rocky Lane, Lash LaRue, Smiley Burnette, Tim Holt and Gene Autry!

Oh and the Industry as well!

I'm guessing he showed up in the first Busiek/Perez Avengers story, but after that..?

I think he's currently appearing in New X-Men, but I only read about that title via Paul O'Brien's reviews, so don't quote me on that.

Dead. :P Well, there was that "Douglock" thing some years ago, and I don't remember how that storyline eventually ended.

Hmmmm.....on second thought, it may have been in the GLA: Disassembled mini-series. Whichever, it was definitely a Dan Slott-written comic book.

Yeah. Busiek did use him, and he was back from the Middle Ages. (I forget the details. I used to remember this stuff so much better in my youth!)

I checked the Marvel Chronology Project ( http://www.chronologyproject.com ). The most recent entries for Black Knight are Avengers, vol. 3, #58 (cover dated November, 2002) and Marvel Shot #2 (cover dated February 2003). As it happens, I own both issues, and I checked them. Black Knight was alive and well at the end of both stories.

Of course, that last story was published almost four years ago. I don't know how often the Marvel Chronology Project site is updated. If Black Knight has appeared within the last four years, then I'm afraid that I don't know about it.

Read The Thing #8, as it's full of cameos (even The Impossible Man...um...pops up...). I think the Black Knight is in there somewhere.
