I think it was something like $100 after tip. It was our anniversary, and we went to a fancy restaurant we had heard about. It was in an old mansion house. We sat near an elderly couple. The old husband was going on to his wife about how beautiful she (still) was. I thought it was so sweet! It must be wonderful to be able to go on together that long.

Something I aspired to.

Just under $200 at Morton's but I had a $100 gift card so I didn't actually spend that much.

Yeah. Mortons can get there with a good wine, and some after dinner scotch.
Vegas, much more easily. Order Kobe beef at craftsteak, and you get there quick.
Very much a singular luxury, bought with 'house money'.

$375.00 - Top of the World restaurant in Vegas (Stratosphere) just myself and my then-fiancee. It was a ridiculous 7-course meal with a couple of cocktails for the each of us. Great meal.
The desert was a chocolate mold of the Stratosphere with the rotating center filled with chocolate mousse.

About $37. I'd have kept it under 35, but I just had to have the mozzarella sticks.

Locally, about $225 at one of the nearby wineries. We had a $100 gift card, so that took a big sting out of it, and we walked out with a free bottle of wine at the end of the night. Travelling, about $250 in Vegas. I was too drunk to eat and don't even remember what I ordered. I love Vegas!

Less than, but close to, $200. Alcohol was involved.
