So the long-awaited funny book created by our very own IMWANkers is done and available for purchase! I'm buying a copy and want to know who else is. Post here if you're ordering a copy. Clayton illustrated an alien-cops-in-space story. And more. Some 128 pages of IMWANker goodness in all for just $9.99. SO BUY THE DAMN THING ALREADY!

I don't know that it's right to get "comped"-- Eric shouldn't have to pay out of his pocket to give me something for free.

Thank you for this thread, Jay.  And even more, thanks to everyone buying or planning to buy a copy. I know you'll enjoy the work. There are a lot of talented people here, as you'll soon see. Hopefully I've kept up my end of the bargain by giving them good stories through which to shine.

I wouldn't miss it for the world. For those of you on the project, just imagine what it is like for the rest of us. A fun, engaging reason to buy some indie comic work. (Like real indie. So indie that that indie people would say "now that's indie.")

I'm curious. Was this Marvel Method or full script from Eric or something inbetween?

A little of everything. There is Marvel method in here. There is full script. There are several hybrids, too. For instance, with Stanley Lieber, I provided him with the text of a lengthy conversation, but no visual direction at all other than the setting. Meanwhile, Rick Hannah adapted one of my prose stories to sequential art, and I then adapted my own story to his visuals.
Part of the fun for me wasn't just working in different genres and with different people, but also in challenging myself to work in different ways, so I was sure to mix it up a bit. Marvel method ruled the day, but we tried lots of stuff in the space of these nine stories.
