Thanks! For fans of Stevie Nicks, one the upcoming releases is Cat Dancer by Sandy Stewart.

Ditto. I'm definitely in for the Sandy Stewart. That's one I'll be very happy to retire my vinyl copy.

Regarding Buddy Miles, while I have the vinyl, I sure wish someone would put his 2nd & 3rd best LP's on cd: We've Got TO Live Together & the Live double album.

Several of the Paul Davis titles I do not have and will purchase those. Nice to see the two Looking Glass albums available as well. Two thumbs up to Wounded Bird for releasing alot of old and obscure titles. There are some of us out there that appreciate that...

i've emailed a couple of times now about the last 2 nicolette larson albums, and did not receive a reply either time, which is quite unusual for them.

does anyone know why those 2 albums seem to be lost to the ages and never even get mentioned in "unreleased on CD" lists?

Thanks man,I would be interested in checking out that pair of Looking Glass albums."Brandy" is a great soft rock classic.

They can be very light on liner notes though. I'm thinking a couple I have don't have any.

Unfortunately Wounded Bird packaging, or lack thereof, leaves much to be desired. I tend to shy away from their releases because of this.

The double set on Mercury?? I've never seen it from any country on cd. Amazon only shows used vinyl.

I feel the same, and the sound quality seems hit or miss too.

Though I am VERY tempted by the upcoming Gary Myrick releases and I see they have already released the self titled Painter album. I'm amazed anyone in the States even knows who they are.

Very curious to see what this one sounds like.

There were a couple of titles on the site that tempt me - especially Foghat's "Boogie Motel".

i may have erred on this one, i thought for sure i saw it before on CD.

i know that the brilliant live cover of "down by the river" is on miles best of CD.

I remember reading or hearing somewhere that they just do straight, flat transfers...no real remastering as far as EQ and compression, which is great for some masters, not so much for others. And I'm sure since they take such a laissez faire attitude about remastering, they likely don't pay much attention to whether or not they're retrieving FIRST GENERATION masters or not.

But, at least they get stuff out there, and on a physical CD. Brownie points from me on that.

I got the Gary Myrick & The Figures CD from Amazon this week. It comes with 9 live bonus tracks (five previously released) from the Whiskey A Go Go in 1980. It sounds like it's a straight transfer with no remastering. But it's great to finally have this lost album on CD, and nice to have the nine bonus tracks.
