Just leased a new car. Like on Saturday. 2007 Chevy Impala

Sunday night it rains. Use wipers.

Monday morning (today) notice 3 inch scratched caused by wipers right in my line of vision when driving.

took some of the shine off of having the new car.

Contact my chevy dealership? Use one of those home scratch remover kits I've hear about?

Dealership. It sounds like somebody put the wipers on wrong, and they should take care of this for you without charge.

Lease? Dealership. They're the owner, they need to know and they need to fix.

Yeah, I figured that would be it. Stinks, because I need the car, and to not have it for a day is a harship (the dealer's shop not open on weekends) plus my wife and especially her family are really opposed to American cars and to have to hear it....when it isn't even a major problem.

But yeah, they own it, and the car immediately had a wiper problem. and i don't need any more scratches.

Oh, just smash the windshield in and start over...

But the dealership should be able to give you a loaner while yours is getting fixed.

And when your wife and her family bitch about American cars, go into how you can't believe they're so unpatriotic and won't support American business and workers.

Well, the dealer dude said bring it in and we'll fix it and/or replace the wipers/windshield. So there ya go. He was all sorry. He wants me to send in a good report to chevy. Even bribed me with a free oil change. apparently, all chevy dealers have to get customer satisfaction up. even if high to begin with.

Still sucks, because they are not opened on weekends, and open at 8 on weekdays, which is usually when I get to work.

Ask him if he can get you an overnight loaner.
