I've got maybe twenty or thirty. I like the silkscreened ones where the print doesn't wear. I'm going to get a T-shirt with The Ronettes from the Be My Baby period. I don't remember what my first music T-shirt was.

I'm also getting a sweat-shirt, Barry White, in memory of the great man. I missed a sweat, "Jefferson Airplane Loves You", it's sold out.

I've got a T-shirt of a Wanted poster of Brian Wilson, "WANTED - Brian Wilson - For failing to surf".

There was a great Buddy Rich T-shirt I regret not buying when I had the chance.

I've got an Astroboy and a Blackjack T-shirt from the Osamu Tezuka exhibition, but I could only get them in medium. :( I mostly buy XL, I like them baggy.

I regret throwing out about 50 tour shirts when I got married. The wife needed closet space. The only one I kept was Rolling Stones 1981. I miss my '78 Elvis Costello and Clash (Bond's) shirts the most. Don't miss the ex at all.

I also have a Neil Young one with Lost Dogs in 1989. U2 Under Australian Skies 1984. etc

The Zombies? That can't be original tour T's, because I don't think they made tour T's in the '60s. In fact, printed T's really is a '70s phenomenon, one of those things that's here to stay, like rock'n'roll itself, I can't see it ever going away.

I regret selling a Twiggy T-shirt and a Tuff Gong T-shirt (Bob Marley's studio)

I also regret selling a Captain Beefheart T with the Trout Mask Replica artwork. I thought it was an ugly motif, but I regret it now, because it had/has such cultural significance and there was also a photo of Don Van Vliet as a boy.

Just this summer, I've bought 4. One at the Duran Duran concert in July, two at the Trashcan Sinatras show (one has their new album's cover, the other just says "Trashcan Sinatras: Legendary Scottish Band" to answer the question "what is Trashcan Sinatras?") and another at the Pete Yorn concert, again with the cover art from his new album.

True Goog, I bought this off the Rod Argent Web site, it's a black shirt with both Argent and Blunstone's name appearing.

I bought a Folksmen t-shirt when I saw Spinal Tap "Unwigged" back in May. I considered wearing my Spinal Tap shirt from their 1992 tour (on the back, "Break Like The Wind 1992" was stenciled over the "cancelled" dates from the 1982 "Smell The Glove" tour) but after removing it from the archives (my garage) I determined that it was too delicate and precious to risk withstanding even an evening of acoustic music.

I enjoy wearing the Folksmen t-shirt around town because I love jokes that only about three people out of a hundred will laugh at.

Saw a guy on the subway wearing one of these:

I've heard it's dangerous to talk to strangers on the subway, so I did not engage him. He might've been a serial killer.

Yeah - all mine seem to have shrunk also - funny how that happens just hanging in the closet.

I like music shirts, but I collect shirts from blues clubs, bars, and music venues. My favorites are my shirts from McCabe's Guitar Shop and my bluescentric Highway 61 shirt (I have two in different colors).

I have that saying on a bumper sticker I received from some record company I ordered a vinyl album from. Pretty funny!

The most recent music t-shirts I've picked up are all surf instrumental related- surf bands, surf labels, a surf music forum. Still, l wear my Blondie t-shirt from time to time.

Although I seldom wear them, I still have a bunch, mostly bought at shows in the '70s and '80s. I was 20-25 pounds heavier in college, so fit is not much of a problem.

One favorite is a light blue one from Queen's "Jazz" tour. It has a line of magenta fat-bottomed girl drawings across the chest. Another fave that I still wear occasionally is a tan Heart tee from the "Dog & Butterfly" tour.

In the wake of the Three Dog Night reissues, I need to go find the "Coming Down Your Way" tee that I bought when I was in high school. That's probably the oldest one I still have, but it's likely packed away in the attic with numerous others.
