I see where EMI UK has reissued in jewel cases the Eno discs in that originally came out in slipcases back in 2005. There were problems with the "More Music for Films" disc back then. Does anyone know if the new reissue corrects those problems?

Just to clarify the mastering error on the original disc: track 18, which is labeled as "Climate Study," is in fact "Approaching Taidu." "Approaching Taidu is also on Track 20 (properly labeled). The same track appears twice and "Climate Study" is not on the disc.

Pretty sure my copy is fine.

Well I'm happy for you, but it doesn't answer the question of whether the new EMI reissues still have the remastering error or not.

I bought one of the original discs with the duplicate track; they went back and corrected the problem, reissued the album and folks like me were able to switch out the two at the record store where I bought it originally. It was well-publicized at the time, at least on various internet sites like this one. I remember periodic updates on Brian Eno's site. I can't imagine the new version having that problem.

I think it answers your question just fine.

Consider this:
a) There was no "More Music for Films" before the remasters came out;
b) The first copies have the error;
c) Mine (purchased quite some time after the original run) does not.

This means there must be corrected copies out there somewhere, doesn't it?
