This was recorded last year at a series of shows Neil performed at MSG. I was in attendance one night, terrific show. The DVD is only available at Wal-Mart and through Diamond's website. (And, evidently, Discorama. :shush: ) Includes a bonus CD, 10 Favorites, which features new (2009) studio recordings of "Sweet Caroline" and "Play Me."

CBS televised an edited version of the show last Friday night.

Neil Diamond's Hot August Night/NYC Live From Madison Square Garden DVD.

Experience Neil Diamond Hot August Night/NYC on DVD, recorded live at New York's Madison Square Garden in August, 2008. The entire show beginning to end features 25 career-spanning hits from Neil's phenomenal four-night sold-out run at the fabled concert hall.

"Good times never seemed so good" as they do at a Neil Diamond concert. Thirty-six years after the original Hot August Night from Los Angeles' Greek Theater in 1972, Neil Diamond returns with a welcome encore. Hot August Night/N.Y.C. captures the highlights from Diamond's critically acclaimed, sold-out, "World Tour '08-'09." Filmed August 2008 during the run of his four sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden, the concert film shows why Neil Diamond's World Tour '08-'09 was hailed as the #1 Hottest Summer Tour by USA Today with 100% attendance.

The DVD features more than two hours of music including "Holly Holy," "Love On the Rocks," "I Am ...I Said," "Forever In Blue Jeans," "Cracklin' Rosie," "America" and the world's greatest sing-along "Sweet Caroline." It also includes the first concert versions of songs from his critically acclaimed album, 12 Songs and the chart-busting Home Before Dark PLUS the exclusive bonus feature "Welcome Home Neil," a behind-the-scenes look at Neil's pilgrimage to his childhood home in Brooklyn.
