I wanted to post this in the Playroom because the running thread on costumes we have down below is full of nastiness. This is a pretty neet "rustic" design for Wonder Woman's outfit that would work in a movie. In a hypothetical movie, I can totally see this being what she wears on Themyscira, only to have it redesigned into something more like Linda Carter's outfit when she reaches "Man's World." Where's that design from, Darin? I think it works well, also - I like the muted colour scheme.

I dunno where it came from. Found it with a google search a few weeks ago.

No worries - it does look good, though. Looks too good to be a fan's home-made costume to me. Maybe it was a design from the JLA movie (that never happened and probably never will, unfortunately)?

It looks like it was "enhanced" with Photoshop to me.
I could see that as being the costume WW wears for the entire movie.
Great redesign.

I can't tell how much of it is photoshopped and how much of it isn't... but yeah, the design looks good.

I'm a dunce when it comes to spotting photoshopping - unless it's extremely obvious I never notice. I definitely like the sandals instead of the boots, as well - more "Amazonian" (or something).

Yeah, this outfit could have been used in "300" or something like it.

Nice costume design but yes that is definitely 'shopped. It looks like the body of a body builder and the head of an actress or model. The head even looks a little small relative to the rest of the body.

I would believe the head is attached to the body mostly because of the tiara. But I love the costume design. I think it is insipred and really would work for the movie. The only suggestion I would have is a brighter gold lasso. The rest works perfectly. And where the muted colors didn't work for Superman, I think it does work here.

That's a great design! In the real flesh-and-blood world, this one is still my favorite -- an actual costume based on the neo-Victorian-type Elseworlds WW garb, worn by an attendee at DragonCon last year:

Getting a little too hot in here. I kinda wanted to keep this upstairs.

We need a constitutional amendment, dagnabbit!
