Hmmmm I'm sensing a nipple theme here.

Honestly though. I dig the mermaid. I especially like the opalescent look to the scales and fins.

Very nice work.

Nobody else has any comments? Wow. I think this is good stuff. Deserving of a bit more feedback at the very least.

And c'mon...there are nipples fer cryin' out loud. Nipples!

I like the style you are using, Yvette - very bouncy and energetic! These pieces are a lot of fun, and I look forward to seeing more of them!

The mermaid piece - was that a combination of 3D modeling and other painting programs?

Nope. I only used two programs: Painter and Photoshop. The shimmery effect on the tail and fins came from the Paint Daubs filter on the "sparkle" setting. I colored it with multicolors and rendered it with the dodge and burn tools. Then I used the filter to give the shimmery look. It was by accident...and a lucky accident it was. The shadow on the scales was made by duplicating the layer that I drew the scales on and giving it a slight gaussian blur then offsetting it.

I'm glad you liked the drawings. :yay:

I really like this one. Great quirky style. Love the body language and the facial expression.

Very cute - she looks like she's thinking wistful thoughts about someone...

She's actually bummed. She's in a bar and no one has any interest in talking to her...She's too intimidating...and that lasso doesn't help... :D
