Any indication if these are originals or rerecordings (outside of the "previously unreleased performances")? I don't recall ever hearing Sha Na Na do "Run Run Rudolph."

Sha Na Na had exactly 2 Hot 100 singles, and the official best-of from BMG left off one of them.

The audio samples at Amazon sound like re-recordings to me — the quality seems "too" good and I didn't hear Bowser in any of the clips I listened to — but I'm not familiar enough with the originals to be absolutely sure. The new covers alone make it a must for Sha Na Na completists, of course. (Are there Sha Na Na completists out there?)
