The long-rumored Beatles "comeback" album that was thought to have been recorded in 1976 and later shelved apparently had some copies pressed. It is hard to find, but here's a glimpse at what it looked like:

Very surprised to see that they had abandoned Apple Records/Capitol for Casablanca.....boy, Neil Bogart had more power than I ever thought. I guess it was a real bitch for John to keep from getting makeup all over his glasses. I must say, it would have been interesting to see them in concert at that time, what with George shooting rockets out of his guitar in the middle of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and Ringo on his levitating drum kit doing "Octopus' Garden" and Paul doing his fire breathing routine to put a rousing exclamation point on "Let It Be". I hate that I missed out on all this.

Well, if Kiss stands for Knights In Satan's Services, as it surely does , then Beatles must now stand for, or be an Acronym, for Beatles In Satan's Services.

You should've seen what they had planned for "Helter Skelter!"
