I assume this will not include any previously unreleased music. I was initially excited that this might be another Dagger release, but alas that is not the case.

They are still milking the same old tired stuff.

Janie Hendrix continues to lose more respect from me.

Agreed. The promises made of new releases and time it takes to finally get them out.
Live at The Royal Albert Hall has been on the way for what seems like 2 years.

I wouldn't assume EH is the holdup for the RAH stuff. The other party involved is known for being difficult to deal with.

What really pisses me off is the fact they have 100s of out-takes in their vaults.

There are at least 4 or 5 CDs of out-takes and alternative versions from Are You Experienced and Axis alone.
There are also about the same of Electric Ladyland sessions.

In 1969 Hendrix recorded some amazing Jazz sessions and did a month of sessions at The Hit Factory with the band that performed at Woodstock. The fragments that have been released from those sessions are brilliant.

In addition Hendrix also did a month of sessions at TTG Studios in Oct 1968. Those sessions were also very inspired and are well worth releasing.

There are many many more sessions of 'studio' work that remains unreleased by Experience Hendrix.

Oh, no doubt. Loads of studio material that hasn't been released or booted. There are still several unreleased and unbooted original Hendrix songs that were professionally recorded. So many people assume that after all this time and with releases like Loose Ends, the 2 Douglas LP's, Nine To The Universe, etc that the well must be dry but they don't realize that Douglas didn't have shit. For example, Douglas didn't have anything recorded at Olympic for crying out loud. Say what you will about them but EH has done an amazing job of tracking down and purchasing material.

That said lots of AYE outtakes are MIA. I wouldn't be surprised if they are holding off on an AYE Deluxe set in hopes that more of the session tapes turn up.

There is still a lot of quality material from the 2/69 Olympic sessions that hasn't been released, the there is the final JHE sessions at Olmstead and Record Plant, the Hit Factory sessions you mentioned, the one off BOG session at Juggy Sound that yeilded BOG versions of Nightbird Flying.
