Don't know if this an updated version, re-release or a new release, but regardless this looks wonderful for any fans of the Pixar films. I must have this-shame nothing from "Up" made it, so maybe this is an updated release, but not that updated!
Anyway, it's out this week, don't know if anyone mentioned it anywhere-I saw this at Amazon.com and it looks great!
Looks like that great Sarah McLachlan song is only available on the physical release.

Thanks, Pete! I've moved this to our Vaults board. It appears to be an updated version of the 2004 compilation with additional material from more recent movies.

BTW, that Sarah McLachlan song is available as part of the MP3 album too — when Amazon lists a track as "Album Only" rather than showing an individual price for it, it just means that if you want the digital version of the song you have to get the entire MP3 album, you can't purchase it a la carte.

The Toy Story "Ultimate Toy Box" DVD set featured some informal-sounding Randy Newman demo recordings that were far more interesting than the finished songs. Have these ever shown up on any CD collection?

This is a great compilation, but I'm still in shock that the powers-that-be at Walt Disney Records have apparently decided against giving a CD release to Michael Giacchino's score for UP. (MP3s are apparently available at Amazon.com and maybe iTunes?) This decision seems even stranger in light of the fact that this compilation has recently been re-released, perhaps in its place. What a slap in the face to Giacchino, not to mention those of us who collect the Disney/Pixar soundtracks, and soundtracks in general. SIGH.

I missed that there is a song from "Up" on this comp. Is that right-no physical release for that soundtrack? Utterly bizarre nd short-sighted by Disney. Hell, they could easily put a bunch of CDs for the soundtrack in their crappy Disney stores in the malls. What a disgrace.
I'll still get this comp though as it looks really nice. Maybe "Up" will hit CD somehow.
