Wow I have had really bad reaction to watching the last but one episode of the Shield. Do any of you guys fall apart when you see kids killed even when you know it's fiction? It doesn't help that I saw the last episode of Prison Break earlier today either. That was another tear jerker.

I cry every time Dr. and Mrs. Wayne get shot.

Even though they're dead parents walking from frame one of the movie.

Not really. I find enough to cry about in real life.

I find it easier to cry about fictional things than real life things. Not sure why that is, or if it should worry me.

Not only do i cry when i see kids getting hurt in shows, i end up thinking about it for days. That's why i try my best to avoid shows like that. Sometimes you can't help seeing it though. Changling comes to mind. Not the movie i thought it was going to be.

Things I see on movies and TV disturb me as well sometimes. And sometimes stay with me like that. But tearing up is not something I've had much trouble with.

I've teared up a couple of times, but never actually had flowing tears from any movie or TV show, with one exception. Philadelphia just tore me up at the end. When they showed those "home movie" clips. I could never watch that movie again. Just thinking about it can cause me to well up. It's one of the greatest film performances of all time by Tom Hanks, but I still just can't sit through it.

I do. Oddly I tend to tear up more on second viewing of something. The first time, I am too much in "trying to guess what will happen next" mode. When I rewatch something I tend to be more in the moment and an emotional moment can sometimes get me.

I cry all the damn time. Books, films, TV, songs...anything can get me if I'm in the right (or wrong) frame of mind.

Very few things that get me every time, but there are a couple. Slightly embarrassingly, Spock's death in STAR TREK II is one of them - I must have seen that film well over a dozen times now, and I still tear up Every. Single. Time.

Springsteen's 'Independence Day' tends to get me if I'm not careful, too. I'm a sucker for anything with a fathers/sons theme.

I did not cry during the last episode of Prison Break. Most of my crying was done during the 4th season over the horrible story line and weak characterization and dialogue.
