We're told he passed away peacefully in his sleep at around 6 PM.
He was 75. Dom DeLuise was all sorts of awesome. The Cannonball Run movies were some of my childhood favorites. LOVED them. "Dum, dum, dummmmm! Captain CHAOS!" The big funny man is dead.  (Chubbs is still with us.)

Probably my favorite memory of DeLuise was as Dom Bell in Silent Movie.

I know it's technically a Burt Reynolds film, but I always think of 'The End' as the definitive Dom Deluise role. That's where I remember him most fondly from.
