I had been in e-mail discussions with Terry at Wounded Bird over the past few years about this possibly coming out, and to my surprise, it actually did back on March 17th and I've seen nary a word about it anywhere: Derringer - Live in Cleveland.
This was originally a promotional album pressed up and sent to radio stations by Blue Sky (CBS). It features the Derringer band (Derringer, Danny Johnson, Kenny Aaronson, Vinny Appice) shortly after the release of their first album and is a totally different performance from the commercially-released Derringer Live set. While some of the songs are the same, this one includes a few different ones including a nearly 13-minute "Rock and Roll Hoochie Coo" and a cover of Bowie's "Rebel Rebel."
It has a pretty flat unproduced sound since it wasn't intended for commercial release and the band is on fire. Get the word out!
Here it is!
