I have been reading up on the dinner thread lately where people post about what they had for dinner. I've noticed some interesting posts about what people made for dinner or ate on any given day. And it made me wonder...what are IMWANker's fav' all-time meals?

So this thread is for that. Post your fav' meal of all time that you've ever had. It could be something you ate at home and made for yourself or ordered out even.

Btw, mine is the time I had roti, rice, curried chicken and curried potatos with veggies at a restaurant not far from where I live.

Torn between jambalaya and shepherd's pie. Ultimately it's my grandmother's roast beef, mashed potatoes, and gravy. I'll never have that again though, since she's passed away, and I've never had anything close to as good.

I could go with either the lentil sausage casserole or the dill-and-sour-cream-gravied pot roast that I make. Either one sends me into paroxysms of food orgasm.

Apart from Linda's and Jimbo's posts, this thread is making me very hungry. Actually, toast doesn't sound half bad either at this point.

Pepperoni pizza and a good garlic bread, followed by apple crumble with cinnamon ice cream.

Linda must have been a cheap date!

Chicken Francaise (lucky for me, there is a small Italian restaurant in my town that makes this dish better than any other I've tried.)

   • microwaved or oven-baked corn on the cob (do not boil it)
   • freshly squeezed lemonade
   and
2. The anniversary dinner:
   • hijiki & edamame appetizer
   • green mussels au gratin appetizer
   • seafood creme croquette appetizer
   • eel and avocado maki
   • conch maki
   • natto maki
   • spicy tuna maki
   • crunchy roll maki
   • futomaki
   • Sprite®
   • plum wine
   all of which (sushi meal) were prepared by Sugi-san at Genki here in Wilmington

Yes. I like to eat certain colors last. I eat my least fav' colors first and get them out of the way and then the ones I like best at the end.

Btw, Jimbo. Do you savor them and eat them slowly and let them melt in your mouth? Or do you bite them and gobble them up? I like to take my time.

I save the red ones and purple ones for last, those are my favorites. I take my time too.

I'm not crazy about any of the other varities, stick with the tried-and-true red bag.

Wow! Red is my fav' to save last, too. I love the color red.

You have great taste in candy, IMHO.
