Only in the last 5 years did I jump on the Oasis bandwagon, and I'm very glad I did, especially after seeing them last December, so I've only had Stop The Clocks and Dig Out Your Soul (and of course the first two).
Today I went up to my local store and got Be Here Now, Heathen Chemistry and Don't Believe The Truth all sealed for 5.99 each. They all say 2009 on the back along with the original release date, are releases from Big Brother/Reprise Records, and the store labeled them as remasters on their stickers. They're nicely packaged, but there's only mastering info not remastering info. I assumed these were resissued and NOT remastered am I correct?
Regardless, the price and packaging were an easy sell.

When I clicked on the link I was hoping to find news of their back catalogue being reissued with bonus tracks and WITHOUT the exessive compression...

I got Morning Glory on Brother instead of the original Creation label, and I'm wondering if it's been "remastered", i.e. compressed to hell.

It's been compressed to hell, but that's the original mastering as dictated by Noel, not a newer version. Even the SACD is a distorted mess, Goog.
