If you are thinking about dipping a toe into Impulse!-era Keith Jarrett, Treasure Island is a great place to start. There is a strong gospel feel to almost all of the tracks. Very accessible without tipping over into blandness.

These releases are one of the reasons I am going to miss BMG Music Club when they go under. They started carrying this series. Despite its many flaws, BMG was a great source for jazz cds at a great price. Here's hoping that yourmusic.com continues the tradition.

The Hodges is a nice album. I hope the remaster is well done.

I have a few releases in this reissue program and they are uniformly good remasterings.
