Anyone else going to see this?

I just saw it. It was silly, chock full of cliches, totally implausible and the snakes were computer generated and fake looking. Samuel L. Jackson, of course, played the same character he always plays.

In other words-

I LOVED IT!!!!

Seriously, this movie was a hoot.

Snakes jump out at lots of people and of course, we see lots of gory deaths and people killing snakes in weird ways. Stupid - sure, but the movie managed to be funny at the right moments and didn't overdo the camp.

Samuel L. Jackson said it might just be the greatest film he's ever been in so I'll be checking it out.

Samuel L. Jackson would make a good John Stewart.

Jackson was on Jon Stewart's show the other night! Okay, it was a different John Stewart. Anyway he was so enthusiastic about this movie it almost made me want to see it and I never go to the movies. I think the last movie I saw in a theater may have been with Bob last year!

The last movie I saw at the theater was FF. I took my oldest daughter and one of the grandkids (not her kid.) Anyway… Except for taking the little ones to see something, I think my days of theater going, and $3 sodas and $7 popcorn, are over. It’s just too much of a pain and so much nicer to watch them on DVD.

Two of my friends saw it, separately, and both said it was great, dumb fun.

I have a real problem with snakes.

Even computer generated ones...

I've always thought that.

Finally got around to this. What an awful, awful movie. Great fun, I loved it. :D My wife hated it. I'll never want to see it again, but it made me smile at its silliness, and hopefully that was their intent.
