Spinning off from The Hanzo's thread, who would you like to see do a New Gods comic? My pick is James Robinson and Darwyn Cooke. Both are capable of epic, character-driven stories that appeal to both fans and non-fans.

Grant Morrison and John Romita Jr. Failing the latter, Cameron Stewart.

New Gods is grand opera but it also needs that human connection to make it work. So...

Gotta go with Kurt Busiek or Paul Jenkins for possible writer.

Artist? Duncan Fegredo or John Paul Leon. Maybe Jae Lee.

Really tough.

Hmmm.

In a perfect world, Alan Moore and Art Adams.

In the real world, Darwyn Cooke all on his lonesome.

 Why not? We could add even more mental characters who only appear in one panel but are genius!

I don't care who writes and draws the next New Gods book. I won't be buying it because I think the New Gods are fucking boring.

Possibly, altho I doubt it, at least not if I was pissed, as I use pint glasses & have been fighting at football matches like a cunt since I was 12.

Either way, you lost this argument by playing the "internet hardman" card. Bravo.

8-)
