I searched for an existing topic, but didn't find one. Mods, feel free to get all mergey if need be.

I thought it was kind of "meh" overall. I recently re-watched the first three seasons, and really, nothing's ever going to grab me like the drama of Matt's paternity and the Carver did. That was heavy stuff, y'know?

Christian's newly discovered health crisis could be interesting, though, especially as it brings him closer to Liz.

We shall see.

Haven't had this over here yet (unless I've missed it)- but I thought that last season's finale would've been a good place to end the show.

Technically, it was the "second half of season four" premiere. They split the season due to the writer's strike last year.

I didn't see it yet.

That can't be right. There were ads for the "Season Five, Part One" DVDs during the show last night.

My favorite thing in this show: Kelly Carlson.

I was talking about this at work with the guys this morning. I can't believe I still watch this show. It's just a big, dark cartoon, trying to out-OTT the episode before. The only sympathetic character on the show is Liz, and maybe Annie, although she's getting bitchy since her early-onset puberty.

But like I say, I still watch it.

I saw that the foreign student from Aliens in America is on there now.

I miss that show.

I'm going to Sisko-pop-in here and say I have no care to watch this show. That is all.

I'd put this show up there on my list of things I will go out of my way to avoid for all of my days.

Napoleon Dynamite used to be on that list for me until I was brow-beaten into watching it.

Brow-beating is why I still haven't seen Napoleon Dynamite. If everyone would just stop telling me I have to see it, for at least a year, then I probably would.

It was relentless and it was from a couple someones who were close to me. I have many regrets. Watching this is among the least of them.

"Tracy" was a pop hit for the Cuff Links in August of 1969.

Not sure what OTT (over the top?) stands for, but I'm sure I agree. I'm no longer watching the show (stopped when they left Miami), but got hooked early on by the extreme depravity of the characters and their actions. I felt greasy for looking, but I HAD to (like visiting the WANderground ;-) ) It was strangely compelling. Probably also for the shock factor. The stuff I couldn't believe they got away with on TV. Don't get me wrong, there was (is?) an odd heart to the show, but it was definitely warped.

I still can't believe Christian had that girl wear a paper bag.
