Pick your all-time favourite group of writers, confining your choice to one comic book company in one era. (IOW they were all on staff at the same time.) For example, you might want to choose Stan Lee all by himself! Mine would be Fox/Broome/Kanigher/Binder from DC's Silver Age.

Marvel in the seventies, during the Conway/Thomas/Wolfman/Wein era. They tended to write in a similar Stan-influenced fashion, which gave the books they worked on a great consistency. They saw themselves as caretakers for the characters, which is the way it should be.
