Some self-contained recent strips (with word ballons!)

There are a lot more at the homepage in my sig, below.

Any thoughts, comments, and critiques (harsh ones appreciated) would be nice.

You clearly are not a true fan of Son of monk and have no clue about his character :)

Serioulsy, very good. I thought the word balloons on the top ones were a little confusing (who they come from).

The last one was funny enough that I sent a link to my wife!

Good work. (Makes me want to continue working on my "Cheese From Chalk" strip.)

Cool!

Thankfully a helpful soul over on Millarworld showed me a link on how to do word balloons. You should see the really early strips, they were always a sticking point.

Bannings: I'm judging you.
What program are you using to create the strips in?

Pencils, then sharpies (Yes, I ink with a Sharpie!), then I scan it into a program called GIMP where I adjust a bunch of crap that I barely understand, mostly through trial and error (though I've got a routine now), do the lettering and coloring, and save it as a jpg.

Does Monk wear ruby quartz glasses?

Monk does not wear ruby-quartz glasses. You have no understanding of the core concept of the Monk character if you'd ask such a question.

Anyway, here's the latest strip, free of charge and with extra luuuv....

Heh. Oh well, facetiousness is sometimes wasted on the internet.
