I am a scrooge by the way. I couldn't care less about putting up a tree but am happy others enjoy it so much. If I were to put one up, i'd go fake.

Fake, and this year the GF wants to get a bigger fake tree than we already have so all the ornaments I buy at Hallmark can be put up. Considering the tree I've used for years is maybe 18" to 24" tall this might be a good idea. It's not up yet, but maybe by this weekend or next.

Why don't you just have Kinko's print out a big scan of one? 8-)

Fake-a-rama. It's a good size, but I wish it was flat on one side to push it gainst the wall. Or made to fit snuggly in the corner. Takes up a lot of room yo!

We own 4 fake trees of various sizes. The table top version was put up on Saturday.
The cat likes to bat at the ornaments, and last year the Bassett pulled it down. This year it is in a more secure spot. If it were up to me, I would not bother with a tree.

The trees are grown for that purpose, hippie.

Plus, we always had dogs and cats and no tree problems.

Perhaps your animals are simply out of control do to poor owners........

Fake. Real trees are expensive and hard to keep green in Texas.
