Been so looking forward to these. My youngest son and I have fallen in love with all of his classic films and watch them together regularly. I've been following progress since they were announced last summer, and now they are coming out starting in May (I thought it was sooner, but they keep pushing them back...hopefully so that there are no delays between issues).
Ray Harryhausen is a great guy, and it's nice to see him still active doing what he loves. Any other Harryhausen fans here?

My baby brother (he's 39) and I both watch any available Ray Harryhausen movies whenever we get together. There's always Jason and the Argonauts, or there's the first movie where I saw a naked woman's breast, Clash of the Titans. Many others. The comics sound fun!

Yeah, I keep hoping my wife never comes down to watch Clash of the Titans when it's on, or she'll ban it from his viewing! :) I really like ALL of his movies, from Mighty Joe Young right on up to Titans. A couple of them get a little hokey, but his FX more than make up for it. Favorite is probably "Mysterious Island". If I don't make it into work tomorrow with all this ice and snow coming down (it's literally raining ice), I think I'll watch it...

Damn these comics were crap. Rarely have I been more disappointed in a comic that wasn't put out by DC. :) The Clash of the Titans sequel one wasn't too bad, but the others didn't do anything for me. Oh well, at least we still have the movies. I really need to pick up the two hardcover art books Ray has out...

I nearly bought Clash of The Titans from Amazon on DVD since it was like $4.99,
but opted out to "lighten the checkout price" at the end of the transaction.

I do own a rather nice copy of The 7THVOYAGE OF SINBAD, Dell Four Color #944
which has some nice (early) Buscema artwork.
