"I AM INVISIBLE, I CANNOT SEE OR HEAR YOU!!!!!" - RPD

Search the internet and that is pretty much what you see; pretty odd for a band who made two acclaimed albums, and the classic single `Flowers In The Sky', one of the highlights of the early Creation Records and perhaps the epitome and high-watermark of their Paisley Underground period... and yet... and yet... The names and aural fingerprints of people such as Andrew Innes (Primal Scream), Joe Foster (Creation co-founder and house producer) and label owner Alan McGee are all over these records as producers, writers, who knows what?!

The sleeve-note on the first album mainly propose them as some species of zookeepers or mental health nurses to be honest. There is an almost total absence of pictures; those that do exist seem to feature early Creation Records scene figures such as J. C. Bouchard and Luke Hayes with several shadowy figures, sometimes on the Paris Metro, at unidentified airports, somewhere unspecified, but clearly in California, or on what appears to be the West Coast of Scotland on a particularly disappointing day. There are even some of an open air show at some European location. Perhaps the greatest mystery of the Indie label era... will it be unravelled by this definitive CD release? Who knows?

There will be input from all the known players and some with people alleged to be involved in the worst way... and perhaps an inkling of the shocking secret at the very heart of The Revolving Paint Dream...

The definitive collection (in as far as anything so nebulous can be definitive). Wonderfully remastered from the surviving tapes and this gorgeous package is a must for all fans of Creation Records and their classic period; all fans of Indie music; historians, musicologists and fans of wild out-there psychedelia!
