One too few . . .
I recently got a new computer, and I'm ready to get a cool pointing device (i.e. mouse track ball thing).
What good experiences have you had? Lessons learned? Good brands?
Here are my criteria, at least that I know of.
1. Bluetooth 2. Has built in back/forward while surfing. 3. Doesn't need flat surface (my optical mouse does fine on my leg). 4. Am interested in a finger pad or trackball. 5. Maybe volume control would be nice. 6. Cup holder (okay, too far).

I chose the wireless mighty mouse and keyboard when I bought my iMac. Recently the bluetooth wouldn't connect when I restarted my computer and I couldn't log on for a long time.
I will be placing and order this week for a wired board and mouse for back-up if not for regular use. You might want to do the same if you go wireless.

Go with one of the Logitech keyboard/mouse combos. They're pretty much all great. If you insist on bluetooth you're going to be adding almost $100 to the cost though.
