There is a reason why these things only lasted until 1986. GoBots? Michael Bay does not make GoBots movies. Megan Fox does not look hot and sexy in GoBots movies. GoBots movies are for Ewe Boll and that washed up alcoholic actress from American Pie whose name I can't remember and whose post-op boob fell out. What kind of a kid falls for these knock-offs?

In Japan, both Transformers and GoBots were giant human-piloted mecha. They both got turned into sentient robots when imported into the US. Maybe if the GoBots had stayed mecha they would have been less lame.

Usually I was the kid with the shitty toys, so it was awesome when I had Transformers and my friend had GoBots. He was so lame! I knew right them and there that I was a better person than him.

GoBots were a cheap Transformers knock-off. So, of course, I had a GoBot, but no Transformers.

At the Dime Store they had one of these 12" model kits of one of the GoBots characters that was in reality a repackaged Scott Bernard's Cyclone kit from Robotech. My dad would never buy it for me.

I can barely remember seeing a couple of episodes of "GoBots." I was not impressed.
