[bigred]Dust[/bigred] CD reissue of the debut album from the American Rockers, a mixture of British-influenced Hard Rock and Prog. The album was originally released on the Kama Sutra label in 1971, introducing a group of young players to the world at large, most of whom would move on to bigger things. The rhythm section featured drummer Marc Bell, who would later join New York Punkers Richard Hell & The Voidoids, while bassist Kenny Aaronson would join labelmates Stories by their third album. The songwriting team of producer Kenny Kerner and singer/guitarist Richie Wise would go on to produce the third Stories album. Seven tracks. Repertoire.1. Stone Woman 2. Chasin' Ladies 3. Goin' Easy 4. Love Me Hard 5. From a Dry Camel 6. Often Shadows Felt 7. Loose Goose http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015N9778/?tag=imwan-20

[bigred]Hard Attack[/bigred] 2008 Germany 9-track digitally remastered CD album, originally released on Kama Sutra in 1972; this was the 2nd longplayer from the New York-based power trio, who included a young Marc Bell in their line-up - a few years down the line, Marc would be part of the thriving mid-70s underground New York scene, backing Wayne County before teaming up with Richard Hell & Co in The Voidoids, eventually finding fame [if not fortune] as Marky Ramone, taking over from Tommy in 1978! Anyhow, Dust were an influential combo, whose hard, attacking style is now much prized by avid collectors of vintage heavy rock, making their original LPs expensive collector's items! Presented in sealed gatefold card sleeve with booklet featuring liner notes by respected author and journalist Chris Welch.1. Pull Away / So Many Times 2. Walk In The Soft Rain 3. Thusly Spoken 4. Learning To Die 5. All In All 6. I Been Thinkin' 7. Ivory 8. How Many Horses 9. Suicide http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015N978M/?tag=imwan-20

The art on the cover for Hard Attack was also used on one of the Conan paperbacks.

The two Dust albums populated cutout bins throughout the 70s, until they became popular with Ramones fans when Marky joined the band.
