I remember when Dan started a thread asking for favorite IMWAN moments. That was great!

Come for the pancakes, stay for the corned beef.

Seriously, I dig the WANcasts and the obligatory pronunciation thread that followed the first one.

Yes, I like the Trick Question thread, too.

Most of all, I like how people can join and become top posters right off the bat. Specifically, I'm thinking of Mark, Hugh and Jasob all joining the same week and becoming a big part of the gang within minutes.

No favourite moments but a lot of second favourites....

I liked the part with Chuck McCann. That's my favorite. I think about him a lot now, and I smile, and inside there's a little piece of IMWAN and a little piece of Chuck all mooshed together, and I carry that piece around with me, and sometimes I take it out and wipe it off and show it to people. And they recoil, usually, but still it's special to me.

My favorite IMWAN moment was back when Joe Pesci and Robert DeNiro showed up on Saturday Night Live for a skit together and broke someone's legs. Oh, and I that it was a really cool IMWAN moment when John Hancock showed up in Philly to sign the Declaration of Independence. Oh oh, and I really loved it when I got to be the 300th member to join IMWAN. That one rocked.

Honorable Mention:

The silliness.
When I get in a bad mood, and come here, and see something that sets off the goofy alert, and I can jump right in and add to it, usually bringing me out of the funk.
I love it when the Trick Question thread has a lot of synchronicity. I discover there are a lot of us who think alike. ("oh my God I thought I was the only one who'd get that!")
The WANcasts.
The themed weekends.
Hell ALL of it!

I really liked it when Starsky was shot in the gut, and IMWAN had to trick the gangsters into thinking that they had killed him. Seeing Hutch dressed up like a call girl just to get the gun from IMWAN to Starsky still makes me laugh.

I think my favorite IMWAN moment was when I shot an elephant in my pajamas.

How he got in my pajamas, I'll never know.

My second favorite IMWAN memory is the time I bagged three tigers.

I bagged them to go, but they wouldn't. They just hung around and ate me out of house and home....

My third favorite IMWAN memory is the time I got to have a Beatles related avatar....
