Does anyone have any info about this series? What country are they from? What label is issuing them?

I found cover artwork at compactmusic.ca (with which I have no experience.) From what little info I've found thus far, I get the impression that these discs are Canadian (which makes sense since the best info I've found so far has been on Canadian web sites.) Amazon and CDU still show these as being backordered at this point. I've still found no track listings or label information anyplace. I always have the perception that, once the artwork starts showing up, then the discs will follow soon. (I know this is not always true, but I don't mind deluding myself from time to time.)

It's a Canadian series of budget compilations from Polydor. AFAIK there are no previously unreleased tracks and they don't feature new remastering. For completists only. (Meaning, I guess you'll pick up the Nevilles one, Jon. )

I wish Amazon's site listed label names more often, instead of just "Import." I like to start promoting upcoming releases as soon as I learn of them. I have an agreement with the Nevilles' management not to publicise any unofficial releases. Knowing what label is releasing a given disc is usually all I need to know. Since this is on one of Universal's labels, it is (most likely) an approved release.

I've been watching Amazon.ca for info about the discs, assuming that information would be available in the country of origin first. There's no mention of this series at all on that site.
