Write a short story, 500 words or more, and post it by Saturday, November 8th in this thread. Genre: Western. Cross-pollinating genres is fine, and the tone can be anything you want. Edited to add: Really great stuff so far. And if you're working on something, or thinking about it, don't sweat the deadline.

Good idea. Maybe this will give me an idea for a comic. It sucks that Firefly kind of wrecked the space western for everyone else, though.
