I liked Darjeeling best.
Most of his films have at least one Rolling Stones song on the soundtrack.

That said, I'm way behind. Haven't seen Grand Budapest OR Moonrise Kingdom. Dang it all.

I've seen and own them all. I think The Grand Budapest Hotel is, in a way, his most mature and substantial work because it makes an argument for the moral worth of the aesthetic values celebrated in all of his films. However, it doesn't have enough Bill Murray in it to make it his best.

I'm going to have to check iMDB. For some reason I'm confusing him with Paul Thomas Anderson and my brain thinks Boogie Nights, Magnolia, and There Will Be Blood should be on the list. (Probably the last name has something to do with it.)

I was thinking of Paul Thomas Anderson and Boogie Nights, but I wasn't certain he directed the others until I went there myself. My bad.
