I liked Darjeeling best.

Most of his films have at least one Rolling Stones song on the soundtrack.

And the best one has a ton of Hank Williams.

That said, I'm way behind. Haven't seen Grand Budapest OR Moonrise Kingdom. Dang it all.

I've seen and own them all. I think The Grand Budapest Hotel is, in a way, his most mature and substantial work because it makes an argument for the moral worth of the aesthetic values celebrated in all of his films. However, it doesn't have enough Bill Murray in it to make it his best.

I don't think there's any other present-day director/actor combo that makes me as happy as Anderson/Murray.

I'm going to have to check iMDB. For some reason I'm confusing him with Paul Thomas Anderson and my brain thinks Boogie Nights, Magnolia, and There Will Be Blood should be on the list. (Probably the last name has something to do with it.)

So.... you know who directed what, but you're going to have to check imdb anyway?

It worries me that there are seven Bill Murray movies that you guys have never seen.

I just looked at IMDB. It's a lot more than seven for me.

I shouldn't have said "going to check". I was thinking of Paul Thomas Anderson and Boogie Nights, but I wasn't certain he directed the others until I went there myself.

My bad.
