My car door is frozen open.
It is frozen open.
The latch somehow froze, and while that did not prevent me from opening the door, it does prevent me, now, from closing it.
My car door is frozen open.
And that's terrible.

Talking to Bro Nathan, this is the kind of winter In Milwaukee that people remember from their youth - and thought they had imagined how bad it was.
My sympathies. And thanks for the heads up, because we will have some of it soon, too.

The thing about global warming, is it is about extremes. Weather is especially intense not warmer overall.
As for our weather - heavy winds overnight brought in snow flurries and bitter cold. brrrrrrr

Wedge some comic books you don't want anymore into the open space. That will approximate locking, at least temporarily.
