I'm thinking about doing this, though I'd be working at home rather than finding a local site.

Any other takers?

I did the 24-Hour Comic yesterday instead of today, since I had a freer schedule. It took me every minute of 24 hours (though I missed 3-4 hours because of a prior commitment, which really hurt but I still pulled it off).

I really recommend trying this for anyone interested in drawng comics. It really makes you feel like you can do anything!

Is this 22 pages in 24 hours??? That's insane!

Wow. Very nice. I could MAYBE write a comic script in 24 hours.

Some friends and I tried to do a 24 hour comic in four hours, by having six people work on the same story. Total fail.

I was actually a page ahead through the first 8 hours. I fell behind while I was out of the house and only caught up by using a lot of splash pages. If I'd had the whole 24 hours to draw, pages 17-20 would probably have had more panels. But of course since I was making it up as I went, the whole thing would have been different.

I'm going to try one on much smaller paper, way worse art and in 24 non consecutive hours. I'll probably need a ruler.

Smaller paper is essential. I drew at 8-1/2 x 11 instead of size and a half like the pros and it was still pretty big.

Some suggested doing this online, a bunch of folks working at their own homes and checking in online after every page or so for mutual support and updates. That would be fun.
