I thought I'd start a thread about some of the wackier things you can do in Photoshop, whether it's photo retouching and combining, aging effects, or some combination of things. Stuff that doesn't fit in anywhere else.

This is one I did where I had taken one of the poster designs I did for the 2008 Manitoba Comic Con and dropped it into an issue of Iron Man from 1982.

Here's another one - a photo of my friend Sharene (I didn't take the picture) which I then aged in Photoshop, added more of an outside border, and dropped in a signature (that I had her do on a separate sheet of paper) to give it a WWII pinup feel.

Ross is partly right. I had scanned in a piece of crumpled white paper, then used the pattern created to create a rough template of how to tweak the image.
