This is from an email from Bowienet. Rather an odd way to make an announcement.....

This (Nassau 1976) is probably the most famous non-Ziggy show of all. It featrues a rather amazing Canadian guitarist named Stacy Hayden, who was never really heard from again. Three of the tracks are bonus tracks on the Ryko Station To Station. If this really comes out, it will be a must own for Bowie Fans

From Bowienet:
"........Strange Fascination ran away with the vote, and the surprise was The Thin
White Duke , which checked in at fourth place despite the recent announcement
(the very one that touched off this poll topic) that it will be officially released.

Other than The Thin White Duke , we can't say that any of these fine bootlegs
will ever see the light of day in any official format. In any case, thanks to all who
participated and let's hope to see these fine bootlegs liberated and released
officially one day soon! "

Hopefully, these will sell enough to warrant releasing more of them than was initially expected. Doing something of this nature is always a good thing.

Are we talking about upgraded sources, or is this more of a Zappa "Beat the Boots" type of thing?

Regarding Nassau 1976, I believe there is a mutli track master. I'm pretty sure that's what we're going to get. The 3 tracks on the Ryko S2S sound much better then the best of the boots. BTW, if you want to hear Nassau with crap sound quality, Wolfgang's is streaming it. really bad sound, though.

Is this the tour that Tony Kaye from Yes played keyboards on? The "Station to Station" tour?

It is the Station To Station tour. Not sure of the keyboard player off the top of my head.

I saw the Thin White Duke tour at MSG. I remember the show lasting exactly one hour--could that be? It was also stripped down, practically presented in stark black & white.

The full boot fits on 1 cd. I don't know if it was the entire show or not.

I have a rehearsal from this tour on cd it has 15 tracks on 2 cds[from the PNE coliseum in Vancouver BC on 2/2/76]btw so i'd imagine that single disc boot's not the whole show.
