So it turns out that there's a whole series of these releases for many Sony/BMG artists. And oddly, they include a lot of 45 mixes, which will appeal to collectors, while the price and crappy cardboard packaging is aimed at casual fans. But then again, each is an enhanced CD that includes "digital" booklets and liner notes. Go figure.
The Eddie Money entry includes the long-sought-after 45 version of "Two Tickets to Paradise," which is apparently a completely different recording. Hall & Oates has 8 single mixes and the video mix of "Out of Touch." Rick Astley and Rick Springfield each have a slew of single mixes. Of course, all of these acts have been anthologized to death already, so I can't say whether these mixes have been available on CD before.
