I don't think I've ever drunk anything with lime in it. Unless you count Sprite soda, which supposedly has some lime flavor. I guess I've had some lime sherbet that was almost liquid by the time I finished it. Good stuff, by the way.

Water. I drink it all the time.

Haven't had a G&T in a long while, but I used to love them.

I've heard that if you put the lime in the coconut and drink it all down it's supposed to be good for you.

Lately every place I've gone that has G&T the tonic is this artificially sweetened crap. Really foul.

I'm more of a lemon or grapefruit guy. But, like Tuna, I'll just vote for a nice carbonated glass of water on ice
with a lime wedge in it.

Yes, and it's nasty. It seems to be everywhere and I was wondering if the plain sugary kind was not available anymore. But, I think they are just clueless. Why try to go diet when you're drinking alcoholic beverages? Blech.

I still buy the regular and got it out at a bar the other night. Regular Tonic has a ton of calories/carbs IIRC.

I'm a cheap drunk - little tolerance for alcohol, particularly the hard stuff - so I would max out at one. I could live with that amount of calories for a special occasion. Last bar I went to only had the diet stuff. Course, I don't get out much.

My favorite is when you're at a restaurant or hotel that contracts with Pepsi and only carries Pepsi products.

So if you were to order a jack and coke or rum and coke, they give you Pepsi.

I'm not sure I could tell the difference. But then, I've never taken a taste test. Isn't Pepsi a bit "brighter" in taste, a little more tonic and a little less syrup?

Pepsi is sweeter to me, and less bubbly. Neither are my choice (diet soda unless I'm at a restaurant).

As a hardcore Coke drinker, I find Pepsi has a spicy/citrusy aftertaste that borders on metallic. I can tell the difference just from the aroma.
