Just a quick head's up to BC fans - several of the early BC albums are out of print in the US. I just picked up remastered Mini Sleeves of Night Vision & Salt Sun and Time from our own Roxanne Marciniak, & they sound SUPERB. If like me, you need to replace your dreadful ESD cd's, or if you haven't picked these up yet, I highly recommend the remastering.

There are 3 others in this series, I chose to just get these 2 as I already have mid 90's US CBS cd's of the other 3, but based on these 2, all 5 are likely an upgrade from existing editions. No bonus tracks, but great sound.

These are new versions. Yoshiro Kuzumaki (CM Punch) (whatever CM punch means!) "24 Bit" 2007.

Thankd Geff. Do I need to buy these again??? :) That is the question I will be asking myself. The ones on the shelf here now do sound real nice, I might try one title to compare.

What are the other titles in the Mini LP series??

This is embarrassing, but i don't remember. When i ordered them, I was mostly interested in upgrading the 3 ESD's I still had that were unavailable in the US (Joy Will Find A Way is the other ESD I need to upgrade). It MAY be the first 5 albums.

Thanks Roxanne, I don't know if there are Canadian remasters of these earlier albums. I might have to add these.

The US editions of High Winds & Sunwheel have bonus tracks that these don't have, but based on the 2 I have I suspect the sound is better on the mini sleeves.

As an example, the song Foxglove on Night Vision: I'm very familiar with it, I even played that song for years on guitar. I never noticed before the Mini Sleeve edition that the guitar was double tracked; I didn't even hear it on the original vinyl!
