I dug this album out of the archives yesterday, and I have to say, it really ages well. What a great, solid album. Should have made him a big name long before he finally had a hit with "We Just Disagree." The songwriting, playing, and singing is really inspired. I would love to see a deluxe edition of this.
Sadly, they don't make 'em like this any more. If you don't have it, I highly recommend you check it out. Early 70's singer/songwriter/rock albums didn't get much better than this one.

One of the all-time most underrated albums ever! I would love to see this one given the deluxe edition treatment.

mason's "split coconut" is pretty underrated also.
manhatten transfer and crosby/nash provide background vocals on a couple of songs each.

Throughout my time in Santa Clara back in the '70s, "Look At You Look At Me" always got huge airplay on all of the great Bay Area FM stations. BTW, I second Renny's comment on the old MOFI Gold Disc. It's wonderful. I would love to hear alternate takes of "Look At You Look At Me" as well as the other tracks on the album in the form of a Deluxe Edition as Greg mentioned.

Coincedentally, I grabbed Dave Mason's "Certified Live" this morning, for listening at the office today!
Didn't Clapton have an uncredited guest appearance on "Alone Together"?

As mentioned earlier, the MFSL is essential if you are a fan. It sounds incedible.
