Anyone else catch this series on AMC, starring the father from "Malcolm In The Middle" as a 50 year old teacher diagnosed with terminal lung cancer who starts cooking up meth in an RV.

Just about finished watching the first episode. Starts a bit slow, but the dark humor gets going toward the end. Looks like it could be a pretty good twisted show.

Watched the first three and missed the last two. It is dark. I make sure the 9 year old is nowhere about when I watch.

The second episode seems to be catching its stride. They have this drug dealer chained up in the basement (with one of those U bicycle locks), hoping that he'll die from the events of the previous episode. At some point he wakes up completely and our hero decides to take care of his needs. The scene starts with him sliding over water and a plate with sandwiches... a moment later comes a bucket. In case you fail to grasp the obvious, about three beats later, a roll of toilet paper rolls into the scene. Then, after you think it's all over, hand soap.

There are a few of those moments. Wait for the bathtub. Light dawns - then horror. Erg.

The first two seasons have been watched and enjoyed - despite some dark dark moments.

I'll be watching season 3.

Amazon has season one for $12.49 right now. I should get this just to watch over again.

I'm a big BB fan. Season one stands as some of the best TV I've ever seen.

There's a lot I haven't liked about season three -- the pacing, general story direction, Skyler's role -- but tonight's episode was pretty damn good. A return to form.

Next week is the finale -- an extended episode at one hour forty minutes!

All hail Heisenberg!

I bought the episodes last year for viewing on Amazon's player. Just watched Season one again a few weeks back.

The first three episodes are insanely good

I think that it was a mistake to

Spoiler: show
let Skyler in on Walt's activities

but it's still a helluva show.

I agree wholeheartedly with your spoiler.

This season seems oddly decompressed -- strange for a show with only 13 episodes. When you see just how much Vince Gilligan can accomplish in an hour -- the pilot episode is incredible -- the slower pace, with several episodes feeling padded, is disappointing.

Still, it's a very compelling show and I'm with it for the full ride.

Aaron Paul deserves props for playing Jesse Pinkman, yo. The chemistry between him and Cranston is perhaps the best that I have seen.

I found last season to be a bit uncomfortable to watch. Not necessarily in a bad way, but they seemed to be doing something incredibly stupid (and totally in character) every episode. This season seems to be about them both finding a bit of breathing room and watching the stupidity pile up before it hits.

And I'm actually kind of glad they did SPOILER. There's only so far you can push something like that before characters start looking really stupid. Their actions are going to get noticed and people are going to put two and two together. A bit of a game changer, had a few dicey moments in the execution but I think they've come out the other side pretty well. Haven't watched the last two episodes yet.

I fear that
Spoiler: show
Walt's wife
may be doomed. It might be the price that he has to pay for what happened last night.

I hope you're right! :ohyes:

Bye-bye, Sky! :yay:

I'm not sure who I like more: Jesse, Walt, Saul, or Mike the Cleaner. It's a four-way tie for awesomeness!

Saul Goodman deserves his own sitcom spin-off.

Bob Odenkirk is brilliant!

I'd watch a Saul Goodman spin-off!

BETTER CALL SAUL!!

I just caught up on the last three episodes.

Holy crap.

This is truly the best show on TV right now. Bryan Cranston is amazing.
