Safari really is an underwhelming browser, lack on features, customizability, all that.
This will bug me no more.
I'm making the switch to Firefox, the next post I make will be from there.

I am now Firefoxing.
It having a different spell check than Safari is slightly annoying (it hasn't learned all those words I told Apple apps to learn), but I think I'll stick with it.

Eh, Firefox included a good spellchecker well before Safari did. It's not Firefox's fault you haven't told it how you want to spell things.

Install Google toolbar if it's not already in it.
Go grab Grease Monkey as a good add-on. Book Burro is a nice thing to add. There's a nice little Google Notebook plug-in.
I would get to carried away with the add-ons for a while.
By the way, you should switch to Google bookmarks sooner rather than later.

I'm making the switch to Firefox, the next post I make will be from there. You may have to keep Safari as a back-up if you do on-line banking at someplace like Suntrust.

One good dictionary for use with all of your apps! This type of thinking is one of the reason I use rich applications from Google when I can. The seamlessness begins to accumulate after a while, and things work well.

must-have extensions for me: Google bar lite - better than the official google toolbar (see their site for details) tab mix plus - extensive improvement of the tabbed browsing adblock plus - self explanatory. bbcode extra - quickly add forum codes in posts. REALLY handy here. Those first three are essential "install immediately after Firefox" things for me.

I forgot about Adblock. I use it all the time. Every time Serge or Glover get a new avatar.

So, I just downloaded Firefox and am using it as well.
Mostly, I did it to try and help me fix the strange things that Firefox does when it displays the new changes I've been making to my website. My links page, for example - in IE, all the banner links right-justify just fine, but in Firefox, my friends were telling me that they are all tossed around the page. The banners, that is. Not my friends.
I know how to fix it (and have done so on my new collaborations pages), but want to run and tweak the site while using Firefox just to make sure that all updates I make in the general website overhaul for the next week or so are running fine.
So, I've only been using Firefox for about an hour or so, but I do like the weather add-on I installed. Plus the Red-Shift V2 theme I installed.
