A few days ago at my job, I had some time to kill. So, I started sketching since I don't draw as much as I used to. I have to admit I've pretty much squandered my drawing skills over the years. Since visiting IMWAN, I've gotten inspired to pick up a pencil again. One of the sketches is that of Eros aka Starfox.

I started this one during my time at work in between jobs. I had a blue pencil on hand.

Always keep in mind where you want to put your weight. On a pose like this, it would be HIS RIGHT leg. Make sure the hips are reacting to that.
It looks as if its a take off of a starlin pose. Check it to see what i'm talking about.

I inked this one using a thin Sharpie marker. I scanned it to bring it into the Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator programs.

Thanks Steve. Actually, I was inspired by the Starlin drawing which appeared in the old Marvel Handbook series. But, I wanted to make it more cartoonish. Sort of like the characters on some of the superheroes animated series, that have aired on the CW.

This one I worked on today. I worked on the drawing in both Illustrator and Photoshop. I was just eager to finish it so I could post it. Since I have it saved, I can work on it more when I got the chance.
